You were charged, not convicted. Do not mention it anywhere. Do not mention the DUIs either. Don't say shit. You're an upstanding citizen. Seriously. Listen to me. I've been arrested a lot and had a lot of jobs too.

I'm no legal expert, but anecdotally, I'll tell you that I was charged and eventually got a plea bargain on 2X DWI when I was 16 along with a dozen other misdemeanors. I've worked at a trading firm where I had to get fingerprinted, an asset management firm, an auditing firm, and a relocation company. You've done everything right so far. Your lawyer should have told you what you were technically convicted or not convicted of. 95% of cases end in a plea bargain and you likely won't end up pleading guilty to the actual crime but to some lesser shit. Either way, the move right now is to maintain face and say no to everything. What did you get? Supervision? Supervision is a suspended case, not a conviction, and a dismissal upon completion. You'd be lying if you checked "Yes".

If they see it and they ask you about it, that means they are ready to keep you if you have a good explanation. So come up with a good "I was young and dumb" story and you'll be good to go. A smaller firm will be much more likely to overlook criminal shit. If it's a deal breaker for them, you'll never hear from the hiring managers again. You'll get an email from HR rescinding your offer. I've gotten those too. But not for the DWIs. The only company that has ever given a shit about that was Lifetime Fitness' cafeteria, which I applied to at like 17. U.S. Vision didn't care. Luxottica didn't care. Visionworks didn't care. Borders didn't care (RIP)

Even if this doesn't work out for you, it's only a misdemeanor, so don't worry. You'll be OK. Just stop doing stupid shit. Stop drunk driving. This is shit that could ruin your life. I have felonies. It was the pressure I needed to start my businesses, but it might not have the same effect on you. Felonies will ruin your life and so will killing someone. A guy like you won't do well in prison. Get it together.
