Other BB's better follow suit
Great move by JPM, markets finally getting some love
How do we get other banks to follow through? Not nearly as publicized as the IBD bumps...
Lol we gotta start spamming bloomberg journalists
This is a welcome surprise! Love to hear it.
Yup! Wanted to share some good news for the s&t folks. Hopefully this happens at all bilge brackets
Still no news from inside JPM to current first years
Can someone confirm if GS did the same?
not yet... jpm is the first mover for now.
source: friends and I are in bb's across the streeet.
Incorrect. JPM hasn't raised for markets.
Source: i work there
Article up on bloomberg, front page
huge
I'm currently a JPM associate product banker housed under S&T, I didn't hear anything internally.
It’s literally on bbg
i read that article myself. fact of the matter is they didn't disclose that to us.
I just looked online internally on what my salary is currently quoted at, and nothing has changed, so idk where that info came from, 2 others in S&T said the same
can you link article please if possible (if that is allowed)? Thanks
EDIT: nvm, found it
I think the increase isn’t into effect yet. SAs got 100K in their return offer but think current analysts/associates still haven’t been informed of the bump
Anyone think bbg just got a link to the wso page, talked to someone who got their info from this page as well, and then said “n>1 so fuck it”
Friend in JPM PWM said his raise goes into effect Feb 2022 (was communicated internally). Could be the same for S&T hence people not seeing it yet
they communicated a raise that's going into effect 6 months later... i call bs
If base for s&t is 100k, how much could a first year expect to make in total comp?
Seems like JPM and BoFA both raising markets pay for Analysts. Anyone able to confirm (also what about Associates?)
Received my offer letter and can confirm
JPM has not raised, and I can confirm that with 2 other analysts. where did you get your info?
They told me that during exit interview and I confirmed in my return offer letter as I said.
