Good lord man, you've turned WSM into a full service company it seems. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next (and I hope I get to use the service at some point)!

just out of curosity do these 'mentors' get paid?

It seems that the majority of them have worked at big banks / consulting firms, etc. and probably don't need the money ( if they do get paid ), so I assume that they just enjoy doing this / do it for free??

If they enjoy helping young professionals with career advice (for free) how are they OK with WSO charging for access to their services which they enjoy providing for free??

Seems kind of strange they are doing this and feel good about not charging for their services but allow WSO to charge for their services and pocket all the money???

The mentors are paid for their mentoring and interview prep efforts. They don't do it for the compensation, but rather they do it to connect and help more bright and driven individuals. That being said, the small compensation is nice, because it represents that their time is respected; and they can grab a nice dinner after a consultation or two.

I'm pretty sure they know how the service works and are content with their compensation (whether that's monetary, helping kids out, or both).
