Mizuho bonus comp?
How much are bonuses for 1st yr analysts? Does it differ widely for each group? Greatly appreciate it if someone could provide some data, thanks!

Career Resources
For the past two years it was 40K for analyst 1. Doesn’t really differ for first years. They have raised salaries more than once since their last bonus (paid in May).
Is this for NYC?
Yes. If I recall correctly they only have a NY and SF office.
Do you know what A2’s or ASO’s got ?
They have 3 year analyst program. Last year analyst 2 bonuses were between 60k - 85k.
A1 bonus 55k stub
A2 bonus 90k
last year 1st year analyst bonus was 40k which is flat for everyone I believe and paid in April so its like a 9 month stub
why so low?
40k for a 9 month stub is not low at all - that is completely in line.
Chinnense banks pay the least.. -___-
*Japenese
Not wrong though. Chinese banks pay even less (than Japanese banks).
What is the base salary for 2nd and 3rd yr analysts?
Bump
How do bonuses work in terms of tiers? Are there different tiers of bonuses depending on performance?
Bump
Yes, you are ranked among your peers. These tiers are commonly referred to as “buckets”. Someone who is the best in their group will be “top bucket” and get a higher bonus than “bottom bucket” analysts.
Shitty in 2020. ~50% ASO2. $150 base.
That's insanely low for an ASO2, especially since last year's bonuses were pretty high across the board. Did they at least bump base since then? 150k for ASO2 seems very light
2021 base: ASO1 $175, ASO2 $200, ASO3 $225
What are you expecting to get this year?
TBD
.
Curious to know when the bonus is paid.
April 30th. Announced mid April.
These get announced yet? Considering an offer
Reading these numbers and comparing them to the 'Bonus Season - Comps' thread would make me want to lateral out of Mizuho to just about anywhere else. Like is there at least work life balance or something to make up for this below below average comp?
This didn’t age well. 65k An1 annualized / 90k An2 bonus is above average for 2022 comp
From what I have heard some groups work less (70 to 80 hours a week on average) than what is considered average for the street
Any update on bonus / base pay?
Recession worsens the comps package😭
Any word on this years bonuses for associates?
