Can confirm the comment above about centralized research for equity business. Firm essentially rebuilt itself out of LEH bankruptcy and has been growing at a solid clip, particularly vs. other AM peers. Very diversified business that offers a lot of breadth in terms of strategies across its Alt’s and Fixed Income divisions in addition to Equities. Firm is still more skewed toward mid to upper level employees, but have started to make push in recent years to hire more at junior level. Turnover is low, particularly at higher levels and can sometimes lead to slower promotions. Collaborative culture, solid work life balance, and good opportunities to learn at a junior level. Strong leadership at top has positioned company nicely in what some ways has become a more structurally challenged industry of late.
