Official WSO NCAA Tournament Pick 'Em Group

Hey guys, we were talking in the Certified User Chat about setting up a huge bracket group for all of WSO to have fun, talk shit, and show off our truly amazing ability to pick for value in the only arena that actually matters - NCAA Basketball.

The group is through Yahoo!, and given that plenty of funds on here are probably rooting for Marissa, I figured it would be good to give them some traffic for once. Any Third Pointers on here, feel free to PayPal me some cash as a thank you.

Information for the league is below. Also, to join you probably need either a Yahoo! email address or a GMail. I logged into Yahoo! using my GMail dedicated to WSO (for anonymity's sake) so anyone who is worried about having their name show up or something can make a separate email or whatever if they want. Best way to do it I think.

Group ID: 127747

For organization's sake, name your bracket simply your WSO User ID. If it gets crowded enough, it's going to become a headache eventually when we have a ton of people with names that aren't real or something so keeping it as your name will at least help us know who's who.

Good luck kids, and hope you can join us! 19 monkeys so far, and growing. I'm brainstorming still what 1st place will get, but I promise it'll be *something* of value.

As much as I'd like to see Duke go all the way, I'm thinking its going to be down to Louisville and Miami

That was exactly what I did to my account. Looks like it is a common sense for highrollers to lay low. btw, what is NCAA? Is that some stupid big ten thing?

I'm just a humble clown. I juggle around just for a good laugh of yours.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Gonzaga takes it.

I'm with you...I'm feeling the bulldogs too. Which based on my history means that they will be out by the Sweet Sixteen at best.

Please don't quote Patrick Bateman.

You all are going to get rolled. I have my super secret, proprietary, quantitative picking scheme with 96% accuracy back-tested 15 years.

On a side note, I own some land with oil on it in the everglades, who wants to bid on it?

Georgetown over Duke. Also have Wisconsin and Indiana in Final 4. Picking Indiana is just too easy. Duke is dangerous with Kelly back, and Wisconsin plays big-time ball.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I just hope there's a way 2 verify no1 made multiple brackets. I think the best bet there is that a win shouldn't count if WSO username =/= bracket name (or something very close to it). That should clean the issue up.

I entered the same bracket in all of my pools. I am in last in all of them.

"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen."

So far in the WSO pool we've got two New Mexicos and a Georgetown who are SOL. And why do we have so many Florida championship picks?
