Oliver Wyman vs. Accenture (MC)
I have two offers in MC from OW and Accenture - I fell in love with OW and the people, I'm really leaning towards them, but I've always liked Accenture and its people as well, and I just wanted to hear more from you guys. Accenture's a really big company and name and I'm sure there are great benefits to working for either one.
Congratulations on the two offers. Do you know what type of work you would be doing for either? If you want to go by prestige, OW might win out. What exit opps are you looking for?
My 2c: If strategy consulting then OW, hands down. Much stronger of a brand name, at least in Europe. Those guys come right after MBB and arguably fare even better than Strategy&. That being said, if you want to move into corporate tech, then Accenture might be a much better option.
I share similar thoughts with theadoor - My perception has always been the OW has had the better brand name and reputation - my understanding is their bonus is pretty decent too after the first year.
Oliver Wyman without a doubt. Better brand name, better exit ops, probably better pay.
I believe travel will be much, much better at OW. If that is a consideration for you.
Check out the hours as well. I knew someone in OW who worked about 100 hours on couple of projects. Haven't heard this about Accenture MC.

Should go with OW unless you have a strong interest in tech
if you fell in love with OW, then marry her and don't cheat on her by going to Accenture

Oliver Wyman in London or Accenture in a smaller office in the US? I am a graduating non-target student from a US school but studied abroad and feel comfortable working overseas for a few years before returning back to the states for MBA or an offer in MBB, or both.
1) Which is better for potentially lateraling in MBB before MBA? 2) Which is better for M7 particularly HBS, Stanford, Kellogg, and Booth if Pre-MBA lateral to MBB is not possible?
Overall which would you recommend as a better company in terms of reputation, perks, benefits, culture and etc?

OW has a better reputation and if you're in their FS arm in London, I'd take that any day over Accenture.
OW has the better reputation, especially if you are interested in FS.
OW in London by a mile. London is a great city, and OW has a great reputation particularly in the UK. Accenture...well Accenture is brutal.
