PNC Asset Management Salary

Any insight on what PNC pays in salary and bonuses in the Asset Management group out of undergrad? The location will probably be Pittsburgh and the position is AMG associate trainee.

Not bad. I have a few family connections with PNC Wealth Management. Do you happen to know how they recruit for these types of positions? I'm in career transition and am looking to ultimately find my way into PB/PWM and understand PNC is a decent bank to work for as far as how they treat their employees as well as how they farm out leads to their Wealth Management folks.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the initial insight btw.

I am starting my rotation in there Wealth Management program tomorrow. In my class there are 15 people across the PNC footprint. They hire for regular wealth management, Institutional, and Hawthorn (UHNW). They already told us there looking for more people in the next class so they are still hiring. The recruiting process takes place in the fall as well as the spring but from my experience with PNC they like to get most of their recruiting done in the fall. They love people with PNC connections so I would use those and try to get in touch with the campus recruiting. The recruiting is typically a couple of initial interviews then a final round super day and the process will take a couple of months.

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up. I will make sure to put my a$$ in gear on the networking front then. I assume they recruit at Georgetown. I'll make sure to double check but that would make sense. They have a decent presence here in DC.

I hope it has turned out to be a good experience for you.
