Other than Carlyle (not sure if their infra team sits out of DC), are there any other project finance lenders or infra sponsors with offices in the DC metro area, or this something that's largely limited to New York?

I meant firms like PE firms that specialize in infra.
Try checking out the sponsor list on Inframation, might help. But most will indeed be out of NY.
How can I see the list, looks like it's subscription if I'm looking at the right thing.
Does it have a free trial/month? Otherwise, based on lists (google something like top 50 infrastructure private equity funds), none are based there, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have offices. Have you looked in NY? I know of a couple of places that are currently looking for candidates. PM if you wish.

There are some advisory firms, like IMG Rebel, Delphos, and Astris. Delphos does a lot of OPIC business. Each of them has different characteristics, like some focus on toll-roads, some do energy-oriented.
