LA + Orange county is the epicenter of CRE, in some ways second to NYC, in some ways not. If you were to count all of the private investors with offices along Ventura blvd in the valley and along Wilshire blvd on the West side, you would no doubt have hundreds. Many of the NYC PERE/REPE firms have offices in LA.
Think you got to be more specific (pacific?) with what you are looking for. Theres hundreds of companies: everything from Pere-100 firms to family offices with 200 unit portfolios. Plenty of opportunities for Acq or AM type jobs.
Do some more research on your own then come back with better questions
Ares, Oaktree, PIMCO, PCCP. Forgetting a few, but those are the bigger ones that I can think of offhand. Look at the PERE 100. A lot are in Newport. Also, I disagree with the first comment and I work for one of the above shops in LA. NYC is definitely the epicenter of CRE.
What is it you’re specifically looking for and to do? If you just simply mean LPs and not sponsors/developers, can’t help you. If you’re looking for actual sponsors and respected LA firms I can definitely help name a dozen or two
So lazy 😂
LA market is huge, this is like asking for a list of firms in NYC, not like Charlotte or something
Literally just search the title of this thread in the WSO search bar
