Where Can I see Equity Research Reports On Companies?
Anyone know where I can see equity research reports from different banks ER depts on various companies? The ones that I've seen so far are only Bloomberg Research and JPM. Is this stuff not view able on Bloomberg and FactSet? I'm not super proficient in either of them so I apologize if this is a noob post.
Im pretty sure you can just google ""company name" equity research report".. I did this for a DCF project I was working on and I'm pretty sure MS and JPM reports always show up.

As far as I know, Credit Suisse is the only equity research provider that distributes its reports semi-publicly. You can access their reports if you make a (free) account on TDAmeritrade, and go to the "Analyst Reports" section of individual stocks.
Most other equity research firms will only distribute reports to clients. Even if your school has a Bloomberg terminal, for instance, you still won't be able to view any research reports, because your school isn't a client of the investment banks that distribute those reports. That said, I've occasionally found JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley reports via Google, since some people sporadically post those online.

Hey! I dont intend to have that.... just old research reports will work to have an understanding of criteria they stress upon in base metal and auto ancillary sector.
Just go on sumzero and search up some writeups.
Sell-side reports would be much more feasible since they are meant to be sold to investors. Buy-side doesn't produce true reports and all research produced is confidential as it is used for the investment ideas of that firm only. I just wanted to clarify the distinction.
However, I may be able to get you a sell side report.
Yeah as mentioned above, you should be seeking sell side research pieces from any of the bulge brackets or middle markets. They exchange hands a lot so they're relatively easy to find on the internet or if you have a contact at a hedge fund or similar. On any given day I receive 3-10 research pieces from various contacts that originate from a distributor at a bank.
