Which should I choose? For my trading skill and career development and resume stand points. Thanks.

Career Resources
From the perspective of a resume standpoint so that it will shine later on your career: GS Asia.
But it also depends on which desks are you sitting on? Can you shed us some light on that?
If it's equity/derivatives then I would definitely say GS.
If it's FX then Citi might be slightly better.
Yea which product and which desk? That will matter more than anything.
Thanks for the replies.
I am open to these 3: 1. Equity derivatives 2. FX 3. Rates
No real preference among these 3 three.
GS
Equity Derivatives and Rates, definitely GS.
Overall, GS definitely has a better rep in S&T
think about new york vs asia
hey yw5cy do you have an offer for GS asia?
Without considering the specific desk in question, this is essentially a no-brainer.
How anyone thinks a location is supposedly "inferior" is beyond me - if you're good enough, you'd get the chance to make a lateral switch in positions/locations over time anyway. Think about this in the context over the span of a career, not the next 12-24 months.
Would you rather join a firm in NY whose existence (at least, in terms of the entities they'd keep going forward) is immense question than a firm that's going places the world over?
More importantly, however, I'd say the main focus/worry at this stage would be to land a job where you get someone who is willing to show you the ropes/teach you well - that would be far more important than anything...
location does matter... but up to OP to decide which i smore important
