USC GIS - Bridgewater, Pershing Square, Oaktree, KKR

Don’t know how we pulled this off at a semi-target but USC is hosting an investor series on the 24th with senior investors from Bridgewater, Pershing Square, Oaktree, Man, KKR, and more. We’re gonna be covering the US economy, PE, Public Equities, and Credit investing.

Couldn’t leave the WSO community hanging so here’s the invite:

Edit1: the event is free btw

Edit2:Steve Moyer of Distressed Debt Analysis fame is moderating the credit panel

Just for more context in case anybody would like more details for USC pipelines...

SF TMT connection is strong, all the way from MM like Piper to RBC, Centerview, Evercore Menlo, etc.

Barclays and CS actively recruit, but it's about 1 per year

Moelis LA is different. Analyst class is ~8-9 with half the kids from Wharton, and the rest fighting for spots. Most years USC gets 1 in but some years none. They do put on an info session though and there are a few EDs and VPs who are Trojans as well

USC is filled with birdbrains but they for sure take care of their own. Same shit as NYU, SMU, etc. I suppose that is what you’re paying for anyway.

NYU is filled with birdbrains?

This is an unbelievable lineup. Great work by USC.
