People with poor eyesight generally don't land analyst spots so congrats.

Haha

Jun 14, 2011

don't think it's a big deal - lots of people wear designer eyewear because it usually isn't that much more than the off-label brands.

Jun 15, 2011

I've got a pretty expensive pair of Prada and nobody really cares.

I win here, I win there...

It's not a big deal...lol insurance covers most of the expense

Do whatever you want with glasses, no one will care.

Jun 15, 2011

yea nobody gives a shit.

I would recommend silhouette if you like rimless frames though. Very durable and pretty stylish if you're into minimalism. Prada etc. is overrated shit.

Jun 15, 2011

no one cares, unless it has a huge D&G label embroidered with diamonds

Jun 15, 2011

haha i have been wearing signature brands since like 10
who cares

Jun 15, 2011

get your eyes lasered, worth every penny.

Jun 15, 2011

Were you actually given an offer? Seriously? How did the interviewers not sniff out that you are an imbecile incapable of making the most basic of judgments?

Seriously, no one gives a fuck.

I think you're a douche for asking the question. If you're wearing anything but rayban tortoise shell wayfarers with blue croakies you aren't doing shit.

Oliver Peoples or you're not a real baller

Jun 15, 2011

People care if theyre designer prescription glasses.

Wear designer sunglasses into the office, just to be safe.

Jun 15, 2011

no one cares at all

Jun 16, 2011

designer bifocals to be safe

Jun 16, 2011

Pop your collar while you're at it.

Jun 16, 2011

Have you worked in Hong Kong? The tea lady carries a genuine Coach bag, and the exec assistants settle for nothing less than LV.

So expensive glasses? You're fine...

Nov 29, 2014

Because it is fashionable and cool behaviour.

Nov 29, 2014

Luxottica makes all of them anyways.

Nov 30, 2014

I'd think you're a douche who just buys the label...Oliver Peoples (yes, I know it's Luxottica), Lunor, Salt, Moscot and even Warby Parker for $100 -- to name a few -- all make way more stylish frames.

You might as well buy a Gucci watch while you're at it.

Edit: To be clear, I generally wouldn't care, because even my damn maid has "designer" eyeglasses. But the fact you think it's notable, good or bad, tells me you bought them *because* you wanted designer frames, but are now concerned they might be "too nice".
