What would you consider a boutique Private Equity in Canada? What's there rankings?
Hi everyone, 1. For educational and information gathering purposes, I was wondering what are the best boutique private equity firms in Toronto, Canada? What makes each of them different and better?
What do you think about doing strategy consulting in a boutique then trying to go into PE? is it doable? what would that path be as which Strategy consulting firm to which specific PE firm?
I previously started a thread on how to get into PE in Canada and said I was going into MFin at Queen's, however, Since I am getting CFA level 2, I was advised by one of the replies to consider MBA. Which MBA would ultimately help me reach my goal? I am considering Ivey and Rotman because I believe they would be equally as good to position me for Consulting to PE, or maybe if I am super lucky to get into Pension Fund PE directly?
I would appreciate every insight possible on these points. I think we could all benefit from such discussion and experienced people's insights!
