Big fan of this topic. I've been listening to a lot of alt-rock/folk rock/not really sure, so take my list as you may. This is my top 3 right now:

I haven't, but I'll give them a listen next time I don't forget my earbuds at home like an idiot.
I used to hate that. Would end up listening to podcasts on my headset all day. Then, I realized people assume you're on a call and don't bother you when you do that, so I started doing that all day every day. Just get a pair for $7 at Walgreens and keep them in your desk. I've done the research and I think these are the highest quality earbuds you can get for the money:

My first pair has thousands of hours on them and still going strong. I keep a pair in every bag I use, at every desk, and in both cars. I won't buy expensive earbuds or sunglasses. Those are things I'll never stop losing.
