2025 Blackstone Credit & Insurance Summer Analyst

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to see if anyone could provide me with more information on this internship with Blackstone

Program Description

Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program spans 10 weeks, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

Job Description

Summer analysts in Blackstone Credit and Insurance will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the investment process from origination to deal closing. Responsibilities will include financial analysis, assistance in the execution of transactions (including meeting and interacting with management teams as part of the due diligence process), industry research and competitive analysis, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.

I’m coming from a public accounting internship background, so I would like to get a better understanding of what the role would be like. In addition, what types of interview questions to expect. Would the standard 400 technical questions be ideal to practice with or more behavioral style?

Thanks!

Have interviews come out yet?

I’ve gotten to the early stages (i.e pymetrics games and digital interview), I would assume first round telephone interviews would be happening fairly soon.

Did you interview with ABF people? I had my interview last week and have not yet heard back. I heard that first round interviews for ABF wrapped up today though.
