Just for clarification, analyst is the entry level at BLK correct?
i worked at BLK and left after a year, and have a friend in PEP. What's your exact position/duties as a analyst? Are you part of the deal teams?

Dude you're posting anonymous.. but, I'm now in IBD. Culture is why I left. Head of my desk (new vp who was the brother of a hotshot market leader) was a racist asshole. 2 more people who looked like me joined during my last 2 months, since I was the only black kid out of a desk of 57. They all left in less than a year. One in 7 months.
The thing about BLK is that you get worked moreso than at other AMs but you get paid more than at most too, other than at like Fido and a few other insti AMs. Probably not for the faint-hearted but an active Research seat there will look incredibly good on your CV
