Assisting portfolio manager to run investment analysis reports
Risk management reporting for portfolios
Preparation of financial data for credit reports
Maintenance of the credit list (ie Trading, Watch, and Approved Bond List)
Assist Fixed Income team in data collation (security-specific cum economic), as well as preparation of presentation reports (charts, powerpoint)
Assist in preparation of monthly or quarterly reports required for IC and ALCO meetings
They gave it a fanciful name ( fund manager assistant ).
Is this a useful role for breaking into AM? or just a crappy secretary like role?
