I just got offered from an Asia-based asset management firm in Manhattan for their summer internship program. I was anticipating an hourly pay rate of at least $30-$35, yet in their offer letter they said they only pay $15 an hour. I have other offers outstanding and I feel super underwhelmed by that number. Is that typical of a summer role at an AM firm?
