Teams has no real meaning at Capital. You cover an industry but aren’t part of a specific “team”. There are 3 different investment groups under the Capital umbrella but they’re all good and I don’t think which group you’re in plays much of a role in your job, what sector you cover is much more important.

As for best PM it depends and individual PM returns aren’t made public. In general the more articles, podcast, and public info you can find on an individual generally the better they are but there are tons of exceptions to this.

Thank you. To follow up, which sectors are the strongest at Capital?

Understand, maybe not the best question, but curious about your view

That's just the wrong question to ask. There is no 1 sector team/analyst across Capital. Some tenured analysts/PMs cover boring sectors, others cover topical sectors.

The setup isn't like a MM fund where you pick and choose what sector you cover and then pick a strong team based on that. You are assigned a sector based on need and you stick with covering it.
