Big 4 transactions to AM?

About to start in transaction services (mostly FDD for M&A) at big 4 as my first job out of undergrad. I am interested in AM down the road so does anyone have any tips on what I could do to get there? Don't really have anything AM related on my resume though, but I follow developments in economics/current affairs hence my interest in the 'bigger picture' thinking AM could provide.

One way I heard is: TS to IB to LP. I would like to avoid IB if possible though.

Thank you!
