Blackrock Post-Superday Wait..Rejected?
I just wanted to know what the typical super day wait time is for BlackRock. I've heard many different things as to how long you should be expected to wait after a superday and was wondering if anyone had any insight on BlackRocks SA recruiting process. My SD was last Thursday and Friday and so far it's been radio silent. I thought I did really well in my interviews and my resume aligned perfectly with the positions I applied for, so the wait is pretty discouraging.
Have heard in the past that they are notorious for ghosting- I SD’d first week September and still have heard nothing lol
BlackRock sucks so consider this a blessing. Amazing how things work out for the best - guarantee you’ll think that in a few years looking back

Typically offers at BlackRock go out very quickly - either that evening or the following Monday. However, just because you haven't heard anything, doesn't mean that you're rejected. It probably means that either you're the alternate to get an offer if someone doesn't take theirs or that the team really likes you and is trying to find additional headcount in order to make you an offer.
That said, yes, sometimes they do ghost candidates. It's been a week and a half now - you should email the people on the actual team you SD'd with (not HR) and see if they can give you an update.
Do you think I should ask for feedback as well? The division was very interesting and if I am rejected I would still be interested in applying there in the future. I don’t want to come off as bothersome though.
I think you should only ask for feedback if you get a rejection. It's probably pretty unlikely that you'll get anything though - that opens the company up to potential liability and a rejected candidate trying to find a discrimination lawsuit. That's why most rejection emails say "sorry there were a lot of candidates and we're going in a different direction".
Definitely don't ask for feedback. As someone else said, it opens the company up to liability, so you won't get it.
Personally, I once had some dipshit ask me to review his failed model with me because he thought he had passed. He was immediately removed from any future consideration.
It's just not worth it.
You can probably reflect on your answers and the interviewers' body language, and get more out of that.
