Blackrock - quant vs PM
looking for some insight on the breakdown of roles between quant researchers and PMs at BlackRock. hard to decipher the differences based on descriptions i've read as there are lots of overlaps. first impression is that it looks like the quants are developing the strategies and the PMs execute them ... but then they want hard skills for the PMs too. ultimately interested in knowing who are the top dogs calling the shots ... and getting paid most
