Blueshift AM interview
My first question is whether Blueshift is even real. I've had multiple interviews with them (I'm speaking with the COO/CFO tomorrow), but there is shockingly little about them online. That includes their website (Blueshift.am). Searches for "Blueshift" on WSO returned no results. My real question: if they are semi-legit, dies anyone have any ideas on what I should expect? I'm interviewing for a quant strategist opening. I recently received my PhD in physics, and I'm very well-versed in multiple programming languages (especially Python), but I have zero finance background. The job description can be found on their website -- it only has one page, so it's impossible to miss. Should I expect it to be like any other asset management phone interview? Thanks in advance.
Looking at their form ADV, seems like it's a new shop (~ Sep 2017)... Bunch of former Tradeworx guys (CIO and VP). Would guess it's going to continue being an HFT?
