Bridgewater Associates - Business Analyst/Project Manager?

Hey guys,

I'm being consider for a Business Analyst / Project Manager "pool" at Bridgewater. What the hell does this mean? It seems that the best positions at Bridgewater are Investment Associates, Management Associates, and Tech Associates? Does this BA/PM pool flow into that or is it completely different and more back office? I think I'd be most interested in the Management Associate position of the three... would moving from BA/PM to MA be difficult?

Thanks in advance for anyone that can shed some light.

I'm pretty sure that the back office at b-water is operated by BNY, so it's probably not that. Call their hr line and just ask, to be honest. They're big on that sort of thing.

"There are three ways to make a living in this business: be first, be smarter, or cheat."

Thanks for the help. I've heard it's fairly easy to move laterally around Bridgewater. Would it be hard to break into the MA program from here? Also, do these entry level roles role actually pay $100k base or is that just a rumor?
