Only familiar with their EM offering and 1.) performance is very solid; 2.) likely bc they are not too benchmark constrained and not afraid to make contrarian calls i.e. have underweight china and reduced russia before the big selloff; 3.) worth noting they have been big on NVIDIA and had them in EM funds which some argue is style drift but if you care on just performance and think they have the skillset then it should be viewed favorably IMO ...i.e. they chose to be long NVIDIA which was clearly the right choice (i lean towards the latter but havent done the attribution to find out how much driven by NVIDIA).
Top boutique investment firm. Very flat team, ~20 investment professionals for +150B AUM. Ppl often do FT here after 2 yrs of IB + 2 years of buyside experience (PE, and some others). Highly selective. Interview process for FT is around 15 interviews.
have heard investment process is more short term / higher turnover, is that correct?
