Career advice - switching back from tech to finance again

Hello,

I want to ask for a career advice from WSO participants. I am 34 years old and looking to break into family office or asset management career as investment professionals.

Background

- BBA in accounting, CFA level III, and MBA top 5 school (class of 2015)

- Before MBA: 3 years of PE experience ($800m fund)

- 6 years of business consulting experience at big tech (under product manager role)

After having worked in both industries, I still like doing the finance work more than PM work in tech and would like to switch back to finance again.

Happy to provide more info and any advice is appreciated.
