Career options for ISTJ Personality Type in Asset Management

Hi,

Hope everyone is well. I am an ISTJ (inspector), personality type - kind of bang on for my personality:

Pros: Logical and methodical, and often enjoy tasks that require me to use step-by-step reasoning to solve a problem. Meticulous in their attention to details and conscientious.

Cons: I'm introverted and I hate giving presentations.

From doing research - the buy-side is more suited to me. What positions can you avoid giving presentations in? I don't mind doing the research to put on the pitch deck/presentation or even presenting it to a portfolio manager. But I hate giving large presentations. Realistically - what career options and promotions would suit me in asset management?

Thanks in advance

Fellow ISTJ here - I am introverted but I'm also a good actor. I LOVE presentations. My dream would be to present something in front of like 100k people. I took a class at Stanford about public speaking, and I learned that people who hate public speaking don't always hate the audience. What is it about public speaking you don't like? Are you afraid to take a mistake infront of others? Do you not like talking? Do you avoid the praise feed loop? A lot of these things can be overcome. I would also say large presentations aren't that common. In IB you're only presenting to your team and that's only at a senior level. I wouldn't cancel our professions based on "large scale presentations". This isn't an HBO/margin call profession where you're talking to a whole floor. It's hard enough to get even 1 person to listen.

That also doesn't mean BTW I don't get nervous for presentations. I do. I definitely do. Sweaty palms. The whole thing. But when I get in that spot light I know I can make people enjoy it.
