CFA Level 1 for Trading
I’m a FICC S&T intern and I have a lot of time on my hands now before I start the real job. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to study for & take the CFA Level 1 this year, as you can do it while in school still.
I know the CFA been not as well received recently and isn’t as related to S&T, but think it could have some value, especially because I’d take Mark Meldrum who’s big on applying what you learn in the CFA coursework and trading on it.
What do you all think— waste of time or worth it?
