Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know about the Columbia Threadneedle Investments (CTI) Graduate Rotational Program:

  1. Application Process/Interview Tips or Experiences:

    • The program is a 2-year rotational program within the Asset Management (AM) arm of Ameriprise Financial.
    • While specific interview tips or experiences are not detailed, general advice for such programs includes being well-prepared to discuss your understanding of asset management, your interest in portfolio management, equity and fixed income (FI) research, and trading. Be ready to demonstrate your analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets.
  2. Reputation of CTI and Exit Opportunities:

    • CTI is part of Ameriprise Financial, which gives it a strong backing and reputation in the financial industry.
    • The rotational nature of the program provides broad exposure to different areas within asset management, which can be beneficial for future career opportunities both within and outside the firm.
  3. Benefits of the Program:

    • Competitive Pay: Specific compensation details are not provided, but it's implied that the program is competitive.
    • Hybrid Working: There is no specific mention of hybrid working arrangements.

Went on their careers website and it seems that the position isn't open anymore. Did they open and close their application early?

If it's £58k, that's sort of crazy considering the same programme in New York is only $75k (£55k). NYC is more expensive than London, plus normally UK salaries lag behind the US by a long shot, and of course, we have to pay our own healthcare. I'm going through the recruitment process for the NYC programme, and there is no mention of a raise.
