So from 188k to 700k. I am not a PM yet....I am a buy side analyst but I am looking at my earning potential in the future. I think if I stay in the same shop (top boutique in LatAM), I may be closer to the top range as I am already close to the low end as an analyst.

Well I know that starting PWM analysts in the US make 60-70k (excluding commission). Hope that helps.

According to the robert half guide, a MD salestrader makes more than a PM(bancos). 891-2.385 vs. 325-770.

What's the best path towards a PM, are you better of starting in S(&T) or IB? Or research?

not rly My PM at local friends make around 5-10k a month. That's a lot of money around here for someone in his late 20´s (entry level pay for someone in his mid 20's is around 2k-3k per month). I understand Brazil pay is better.

ummm kraken, where you from? i am in Chile, late 20s, i am just an IA and i make around 8k a month, i am hoping my PM makes more than me :)

Chile, i know some pm's (LV IM P) who make around 3million pesos per month. All of them have around 2y exp. Started working near the end of the crisis and made a killing in their first year.
