GS Asset Management - Platform Management Summer Analyst
What's up guys. I have an upcoming Superday with this group. I'm still trying to figure out what it is and what should I expect in the interview. Can anyone give a description of the group?
I suggest networking within GS to find out exactly what it is. I would assume it's a sales / marketing distribution type role for GSAM distributing via financial advisors. (ie getting independent FAs to sell their funds). But find out from the actual area to know for sure.
I think I interned in that group before (they change the name often). It’s pretty shitty back office work.
Do you remember if they had any technicals? I would have loved if they at least sent out a description of the group.
I never understood what the group did lmao. I literally came into the superday not understanding what they did. My super day was more behavioral based but I would be shocked if they asked you any techncials since it’s pretty much back office. Is this for AIMS?
Haha yeah this is for AIMS. Its two interviews back to back. I just legit have very little idea of what this group is.
I assume SLC right? If so, SLC seems pretty cool and if you’re set on not IB then its not a bad place to start. Just know that the works is very much operational and dumb (in my opinion).
