Has anyone worked / is working for Schroders?

Hi everyone,

I just want to ask if anyone has worked for Schroders before or is working for Schroders? What's it like working there? What's the company culture like there?

Thank you thank you!!

Would be interested as well. I was at a couple of their graduate recruitment events at my uni in London. They seemed pretty relaxed and friendly people. Switched on as well obviously, but that's neither here nor there.

On the other hand, when I asked a co-head of fixed income on how they're going to deal with rising rates over the next couple of years, he really couldn't give a reassuring answer. That was a tad disturbing, but I'm going to put that down to being blindsided by the question...

So anyway, keen to hear more insights!

I think Schroders comes across as a friendly and relatively relaxed place to work. You can expect more Brits there than what you might expect from an international investment firm, which is not necessarily a bad or good thing (social cohesion: you up for banter?). Comparing interviews done there with banks and other asset managers, people there seem nicer to work with. I don't believe that has much bearing on success and investment ability though. I don't think all of their funds are exactly market leading but equities is traditionally a strong point for them, if that's what you're interested in.
