Hoping to have some opinions on my situation

Hi everyone, thanks for taking a moment to read this.

Last summer I completed an internship at Pimco in a middle office position. I'm based outside of CA and have the offer to return to their CA office after I graduate.

Is Pimco still a top-tier shop? what does the compensation look like over time? my first-year TC is shy of six figures. Would you all be willing to leave everything you currently know (family here/ do long distance relationship for 2 years)? what are exit opps? What's their reputation like compared to what it once was?
