How to exit WM for AM?

Hi all,

I am currently an undergraduate studying business management at a UK semi-target (bath, bristol, durham), and I am graduating in July. I sent out 50+ applications for grad schemes and the only offer I was able to pull in the end was a wealth management programme in London at a strong BB (think Goldman, MS, etc.). Though I am happy to have landed a role in such a competitive job market, WM is not my dream job and I do not see myself doing it long term, and ideally would like to go into AM. How easy is it to make this transfer? What would be the best way to pull this off? Currently planning on doing the WM stint for a few months and then will try applying to other stuff or try and transfer internally if possible.
