I was laid off from BB equity research, when should I tell places I apply to?

I was thinking about waiting until I'm given an offer if possible to maximize my chances. What do you guys think? I'm applying to sell side roles and some buyside roles.

Was it performance related? Were you outright fired? Depending on the circumstances, interview and apply as hard as you can. If it was not performance related, you can tell interviewers that there was a cultural difference and things just didnt work out. Leave it at that, you shouldn't have to explain yourself.

Make sure your U5 is filled out accordingly. See the thread / comment below.
