Intern to Portfolio Manager - What division to start out in?

Hi there, I'm currently a junior in undergrad and am interning at a big asset management firm for the summer ( think Fidelity, Blackrock, Wellington, PIMCO, etc). We are given the option to pick what division we want to work for - ex. Equity, FI, Quant. My ultimate goal is to work my way up to portfolio management and I'm a math major - is there a division that has a better path towards managing a portfolio?

Thanks!
