“Andre was very personable, approachable and easy to talk to. I really appreciated his willingness to listen to my background, understand my career aspirations and help me think through potential directions. The session was particularly useful in broadening my understanding of the different opportunities available across digital assets and traditional investment management. I found the discussion around investment research, fundamental analysis, financial modelling, fund selection and investment due diligence especially valuable. It helped me think about and identify alternative pathways such as digital asset investment research, fund of funds, manager selection, venture capital and investment strategy. I also appreciated the practical suggestions of companies and organisations to explore, as well as the discussion around the skills and experience needed to move into these areas. You're gonna be fine. An IB gig your second year is great, but not necessary by any means. Know your technicals and be a friendly person in the fit portion of the interview.
