Is it possible to work in risk management with a finance degree?
As it says in the title, is it possible to work in risk with just a finance degree or would it require a math/engineering type of degree (or something else entirely)?

I mean finance major is fine but I guess you'd have to show you're interested in research and theorizing about risk or whatever topic.
depends on the kind of risk. should be fine for market/operational risk.
Thanks for the responses guys!
I'd just add, I have a couple buddies who work for a commodity trading company in the risk department (pertaining to the firm's physical and financial positions) and both have finance degrees.
