Landing in Asset Management

Hi everyone,

I’m currently a Senior Investment Analyst at a real estate holding company in my country, focusing on financial analysis and project-based investment opportunities. I hold a bachelor's degree with second-class honors and a master's degree with distinction both from reputable UK universities. Right now, I'm studying for CFA Level II and planning to apply for an MBA at a T10 university next year. By the time I submit my applications, I will have over four years of work experience, including two years as a financial analyst in banking and two years in investment analysis. Assuming I pass CFA Level II and get into the MBA program, do you think I would be able to secure a job in asset management, particularly in equities? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
