I'm just wondering what are people's impressions and opinions about Lazard Asset Management and what's the culture like?
Can't be terribly informative, though I've met with the division head a couple times. On a holistic level, performance and growth are good, I think it's a good platform. Comp might be ok too, even if the asset mgt division subsidizes the bankers, LAZ has never been known for caring too much about shareholders. I don't know about culture, in asset mgt sometimes what really matters to your experience are only a few key people.
