Legg Mason Summer

I'm looking for a summer internship in AM (this is my last summer). Legg Mason web site talks about summer internship postings that don't seem to exist.

Does anyone know if Legg Mason has a formal summer internship program. If so, how does it go about recruiting for that program?

I got an offer with Permal in institutional sales and had a first round interview scheduled at Western. Permal literally had no technical questions and 1 round of interviews over the phone- unsure if this was because of my referral or is how the process works in general, but it was really easy and smooth. Western I had a brief screening and was asked a good number of technical bond related questions that were pretty tricky- this was by an alum of my school though, so not sure if HR and the interviewers would actually grill you. Seems like a good place to work. Pay is a bit low for the internships- I think it was 10/hr in NYC (which would result in a big net loss for me for summer), but hours seemed to be very doable (like 40-50) which is good but also means total compensation is probably not much more than 4500 for the summer
