Yeah seems low. Old gig I used to make 100k base and 100% in bonus. Benefits like housing were generous so TC was around $ 250-270.
Should I tell the firm that was my old TC? Not sure how they would react.

Practical question from a graduate that will start at a LO: if I join a fund the 1st of July and the HR tells me « you can expect Xk£ of bonus as entry point ».

Does that mean I will receive only the half of the amount at the end of the year (since I’ve been here for a half of the year) ? Or the number told is already taking that into account?

That would make a huge difference.

Why are you asking here instead of asking your potential employer? Is the bonus prorated is a fair question to ask. I would also ask about performance incentives based on your individual contribution to PnL. If you were told 50k bonus by HR, thats probably already prorated. But you should confirm and get it in writing so they dont try any funny business down the line.
