MSIM Fixed Income Group Insights

Does anyone have info on MSIM (Morgan stanley investment management) in nyc? General group info is good, but Im looking specifically at the fixed income group.

Any insight would be great!

How is this group different from Fixed income research? I applied to that group, but i'm curious what the difference is

They only have 3 interns this summer which is pretty standard for them. The group has been growing AUM really fast and is expanding the products they offer. They’re one of very few shops that have net positive inflows this year. Overall a pretty solid group that’s pouched some top talent from PIMCO and Blackrock recently. Definitely not a bad place to start if you’re interested in FI and it’s pretty common for people to come in as summers and stay for very long portions of their career. Feel free to PM me if you have more specific questions.

Any idea what return offers will look like with only 3 interns? And what are the hours like - I heard some BB AM arms could have rough hours?
