Ninety One AM

Anyone have any opinions on them and heard anything about pay?

The basic stuff on the website is they were spun out of investec, have c130bn of AUM, mainly equity focussed and are publicly listed. returns dont look too shabby for most funds.

But I cant tell if this is just another mid sized asset manager that will soon be acquired by the blackrocks of the world or if it has some unique edge/rep in the space like their big EM exposure?

Look, there is no magic number. Either you are in the top 5-10 firms by AuM or you have HF type performance. Those in the middle without captive AuM (ie: insurance) are dying. NinetyOne is shedding 5-10% AuM a year and profit has been dropping by double that... Do the maths.
