Odd Situation BB AM HELP

Hi All,

Long time lurker here. Need some advice. I'm an Analyst in BB AM in FICC in the MO. I've spent 2 years here networking and learning the job. Background was in life sciences. I knocked out L1 of CFA and got into an MSF Program I can do remotely while working.

Fed up with the MO (aka BO, but BB won't market the jobs as BO because people won't apply), I started applying to jobs and I got into a Big 4 as a Strategy Consultant in the same city as the MSF--that job won't start for over a month.

The day I announced my 2 weeks, a guy from the FO at BB told me he wants me to fill a Research Analyst position and the team wants me to join; explained the situation with Big 4 to him and he said the timelines are too off between my last day and the interviews for that role (role not even posted yet).

I have a face to face for a buy side ER job at a Pension Fund coming up too. I've been getting solid traction on my resume and have interviewed with firms like Bridgewater and PIMCO (eventually turned down because of lack of experience/crappy experience from current role).

Question is this: Should I take the consulting job or should I keep trying with CFA and AM/HF whether at BB or another fund? Benefits to consulting are that it's close to MSF, which would negate the fact that it's being done remotely. If I go to consulting, can I get back into AM or HF after my MSF/another level of CFA? Which of these jobs (Pension ER, FI AM Research at BB, Big 4 Consulting) would be considered the most sought after/lay the best foundation for career growth?

Any and all help would be extremely helpful.
