PIMCO (Account Analyst, London) vs Lincoln International (IB, London): Career Path Dilemma – Advice
Hi all, I'm deciding between two 2025 Summer Internship offers in London: Lincoln International (M&A) and PIMCO (Account Analyst, client-facing). I'm currently at a UK target, studying Economics, with prior boutique IB experience. Torn between long-term IB vs AM/macro. Which gives better exit opps and optionality? How hard is it to pivot between paths later? Would appreciate thoughts from anyone who's been at either or made a similar call.
