Would guess $140-170k all-in for Analysts, 200-300k for Associates, 350k-450k for VPs, 500K - $2M for PMs and SVPs as carry kicks in. Based on friends from Ares and GS.
How flexible is the mandate? Do they invest in non sponsor deals?

Had a superday 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. Does this mean I didn’t get it? If you get an offer do they usually tell you immediately?
It varies. Be patient. Person close to me went though the hiring process with PIMCO 18 months ago. Wasn't notified until a month or so after superday. He is currently an employee at PIMCO, albeit in a different role.
I heard back 3 days after the superday. You're either on the waitlist or you got dinged. Sorry.

Does anyone have some insights into the SparkHire questions?
Prepare for lots of technicals and not enough time to prep. Just kidding, it's a pretty regular SparkHire.
First time for me doing a SparkHire so not sure what the style is. Is it like a HireVue where time to prep is capped and you only have one try? Or is it something different. Also regarding HireVues so far I just had mostly personal/fit questions and not really much technical stuff.

How competitive is their credit analyst program?
Credit research is one of the hardest roles to land at PIMCO. If you're referring to post MBA credit analyst roles then it's even more competitive.
Would you know if it’s more or less competitive compared to other post MBA LO fund roles? Coming from a T15 school
Heard that they hire 1 full time per year in Credit Research from a friend at HBS/GSB so I’d say that makes the role arguably more difficult than the other major LO funds (Fidelity hires like >3 for the summer, Capital is round the same)
