Renegged on a firm 5-6 years ago but recruiter recently reached out. Am I blackballed?

When i was fresh out of undergrad I renegged on Goldman after going through the background check/hiring process for a better opportunity - I was young and exercised poor judgement but the alternate opportunity was better. I now work in strategy at another BB (non-investment role) - a Goldman recruiter recently reached out and wants me to interview for a similar role, however, I don't want to interview only to trip an HR trigger later on in the process and have this be an impediment (e.g. "gee we have a record of you - and it looks like you were going to work here?)

My question is - is there a blackball type list and will I face an issue down the line if I pursue this job? I'd probably come in now as a senior associate or VP. I'm confident in my talent/marketability but don't want to waste my time or their's. I also don't feel like bringing this up now and potentially killing the chance if it's unecessary.

Thanks!

If they reached out to you first in this instance it's most likely that they 1) Have an idea of who you are and 2) have an idea of your past.

I would find it odd that they would reach out to someone as a experienced hire without digging on their background at all.
